An Adventure in Love and Diamonds

An amazing custom love story from one of our clients. We love sharing in these special moments.

"We knew we wanted our rings to be extremely special and after speaking with Scott for a minute, I know he shared our vision! We wanted to incorporate as much of ourselves into these rings as possible, and so an adventure ensued. We wanted to highlight each other in our rings, and birthstones were a great way to do so. Embedded in the bridge of my engagement ring are three sapphires for my fiancé's September birthday, separated by diamonds.   But that's not all, my father had recently been in West Africa and had brought back 3 rough, uncut diamonds from Ghana. My fiancé suggested having the diamonds cut and placed in the band. What a fantastic idea! The end result was nothing short of breathtaking. When it came time to design our bands, we immediately knew we wanted to stay with the birthstone theme. My band consisted of channel set groups of three sapphires separated by a diamond, in contrast to my engagement ring. My fiancé had inherited his father's wedding band and wanted to use that in his ring. Scott melted it down and created a reminder that my fiancé's father would always be with him. We used my birthstone to encircle his ring, and added 7 diamond chips on one side and 8 on the other to represent my birthday. We are incredibly lucky to have met Scott and his family. The entire Addison Taylor family is amazingly talented and are true artists. They gave us an experience we will never forget. From the bottom of our hearts...thank you."
